DAY ONE - LEGS
If you didn't read my blog post from Wednesday, then you don't know I've willingly set out on a master plan to transform my body in 4 weeks by working with trainer Alex Joudy at Gig Harbor Strength & Fitness.
Today, at 7AM (okay, I was a few minutes late), I stumbled into the gym ready to work! With a froggy voice and side pony, I warmed up on the treadmill. But I hate that thing, so after 5 minutes I asked, "What first?"
Leg curl. Weighted squats. Leg press. Sled press. Single leg butt lifting machine thingy. Super sets. 4 X's. Sweat poured. I looked at Alex like, ARE WE DONE? And after a grueling 60 minute workout, he evil smiled and said okay.
This is also the first day I've tracked my nutrition - calories, fat, protein, carbs and I'm using Fitness Pal. I never count calories, so this was new...
Total for the entire day: 1461 calories
40% carbs 37% fat 23% protein
I was over the suggested % on my Vitamin A & Fiber. I'm not really sure what to make of that, but I'll go with it.
Overall mood - sleepy, yet jazzed.
