The KISS Program is way more than just food. Because we all know it's never JUST about the food.
In week one, we focus on emotional detoxing. Why do we have the emotions we have towards certain foods? Why does a certain food make us feel so good and others makes us feel guilty?
It's the first day of the 28 day program and I committed 100% to doing it with the rest of the gals, on and offline. I know that a lot of time, you feel like you've gone "off track." But I like to think of it as event eating. We eat differently around different events. For example, my wedding is coming up this summer and I wanted to eat delicious foods that won't make me feel deprived or like I'm on a regimen. That is why I created the 28 Day Program. You are never "off track." You're just in a different event in your life!
When clients say to me, "I know I could be doing a lot better," I say to them, "Why beat yourself up if you are around family and friends soaking up this awesome summer and laughing your heads off!?"
So today, enjoy your body and cut yourself some slack.
And remember what you tell other people when they struggle, "Baby steps."
